My order failed.

Training Program Specifics
Questions pertaining to topics covered within each training program.

We have created a special learning group within our social network just for the students of each of our training programs.  We would highly encourage you to join these group(s) as this will be the ideal avenue to share your comments and questions with the course instructor and fellow students before, during and after you finish the program.  Any questions you may have pertaining to specific topics covered will be quickly addressed through this group.

What course do you recommend starting with?

A good starting point is to take our two most popular certifications: Social Marketing 2010 and Internet Marketing 2010. How long does it take to complete a training program?

Our Certification training programs have approximately 15-20 hours of video, so the time it takes you to work through the material varies depending on how comfortable you are with the material.  Our mini-courses have approximately 6-8 hours and our clinics approximately 2-4 hours of video.


Now, the above is based on the average (like us) person, so you may be much faster!

What is the difference between a mini-course, a Certification program and a clinic?

Our Certification training programs provide extensive, self-directed training containing approximately 15-20 hours of video as well as resources, assignments, tests, and a Certification upon completion.  Our mini-courses run live, but are also available in a self-directed format and focus on a niche skill/topic (i.e. blogging, Facebook, etc.) containing approximately 6-8 hours of video teaching.  Our clinics only run live over 2-4 hours and cover a specialized skill (i.e. online video skills).

Are your clinics recorded?

No, VAClassroom Clinics are only available LIVE on the advertised date.  Recordings are provided to purchasers, but are not available to the public after the event.  So, when a clinic is advertised, be sure to reserve your spot!

Yes, all training programs work on both platforms.  Although we are still PC users over here, we welcome all of you Mac users!

How often are the training programs updated?

We update our training programs as much as possible throughout the year, but given how quickly the Internet landscape changes, we launch a new training course every year with the most current up-to-date training.

If I’m having trouble understanding the course material, is live tutoring available?

For all of our training programs, we have a social network. These social networks serve as a support base for questions or comments surrounding each training program. You will receive assistance from the moderator (trainer of each program) as well as other VAs or clients who have taken the training.

What technology do I need for the VAClassroom training?

Very simple...an Internet connection is all that is required to begin your training at VAClassroom. There are different programs that may be necessary to download during the training, but we always direct students towards the free downloads.  We like FREE!

Are the training programs self-directed?

Yes, most of our training is self-directed, so you can begin at any time and work at your own pace.  Our clinics, however, are only offered LIVE.  We here at VAClassroom have all sat in a “conventional” classroom, so we have made this as non-conventional as possible as we find it fits nicer into our busy lives.

Is there a time limit for completing each training program?

No, there is no time limit for completing each training program. You will always have access to the training and can work through the resources at your own pace and take as long as you need to complete it.  There are enough time limits in our lives; we don’t need another one!

Please explain the recurring membership charge.

Our Premium Membership at VAClassroom is a yearly membership.  It will recur exactly one year after you purchased.  You will receive notification by email prior to the charge being processed.  Our membership is non-refundable, so if you wish to cancel, please ensure you contact us before the charge is processed.

How do I upgrade from a free membership to a premium membership?

You can upgrade by logging in to your training center.  You will see an icon at the top of your “My Training” page to upgrade to our Premium Membership in one click.  It is about time...we’ve been waiting for you!

I am not receiving any New Forum Thread notifications.

To ensure you are signed up to receive email notifications, log in to your account and click on the “My Account” tab. Scroll to the bottom and select “edit” next to “Alerts.” Click on “New Topic” and ensure all boxes are checked on all pages. While in the “My Account” section, also check to ensure that the email address on file is correct.


You may also want to check your spam folder as these updates are infamous for being filtered.  If you still don’t seem to be receiving our forum updates, please drop us a note and we will look into it.

I can’t access the LIVE Event?

If you are registered for a LIVE event, you will find all of the access information within your training center - simply log in and click on the event icon.  If you are still having problems, please contact Support.  Nothing worse than missing the live event!  BUT, please know that if you experience some technical difficulties and can’t get in, the events are always recorded!!

If I cancel my membership, will that affect my access to the training programs I have already purchased?

The VAClassroom Membership and training programs are separate; therefore, cancelling your membership will NOT affect your access to the training programs you have purchased. You may still access them through your existing login to the online training center.  Although we can no longer call you “MEMBER”, you are still family!

Billing
I received a Decline Notice.

If you received a Decline Notice, your payment was unable to be processed.  Please click on the links provided to update your credit card information.  The most common reasons we receive for a declined payment are:

1.  The address no longer matches the address your credit card company has on file and must be updated.

2.  The card has expired and the expiration date must be updated.

3.  Your credit card company does not recognize the charge and has put a freeze on your card.  You must then contact your credit card company to explain the charge and have them lift it.

4.  Your credit card company does not authorize “International” payments if you reside outside of Canada.


If the payment continues to decline, please contact Support for further assistance.  Don’t stress about this one.  99% of the time, this is just a blip and we’ll get it worked out quickly.

Why is there an additional 3% charge on my payment?

VAClassroom does not add any additional charges to your membership payment.  However, some credit card providers do charge a 3% “International” charge for those purchases made to companies located outside of your country.  Our company resides in Canada; therefore, if you are seeing an additional charge, we would suggest contacting your credit card company directly.  Some of our clients choose to use a different credit card that does not charge the International fee.  There are still some out there!

Do I need to re-certify every year?

We do not require you to re-certify every year; however, we do encourage all of our students to refresh their skills. Therefore, when we launch a new training course, we offer all students of our previous training a “refresher rate”, which is a significant savings off of the regular price. This will allow you to keep your skills current.  


This industry changes so quickly, so start running and keep up with us!

How do I receive a status report on my certification tests?

As you’re going through the questions in each test, you will be able to see immediately which questions you answer correctly or incorrectly. If you would like a status report of where you’re at in your certification tests, simply contact us here at Support, and we will let you know which tests you have already completed and which ones you have left to finish.

VAClassroom is a training center.  We provide skill-based training in areas such as Internet Marketing, Social Marketing, Virtual Event Planning, Blogging, and much more.  In addition, we do provide extensive resources on building and marketing your business which will help you secure clients, but we do not provide direct job/client placement.  We are not a job referral agency.  We will provide you with the tools and skills necessary to secure clients on your own.


We want you to find work, so we will help you all we can, except we won’t go to the interview with you.
